It's bath time and they all seem to be enjoying it. We're all having a giggle to as puppies with soapy feet trying to walk is pure slapstick

Puppies up and walking
Last night all the puppies got weighed and had their first dose of worming solution, none of them liked it very much and all seemed quite happy to get back to mum and have a drop of milk to wash the taste away.
I got up this morning to find all four puppies with their eyes open and walking on all fours. They are all very handsome little boys. They are looking like real puppies now not just slugs sliding around in the whelping box!

While I was putting my last post on earlier today one of the boys escaped the whelping box
into the hall way. I just saw a small dark shadow sliding along the hallway floor.
A few of our past puppies
I've just put together a few images of last years puppies. I will add a few of this years puppies later for you.

I had a late night last night a the sounds of the puppies feeding kept me up half the night.

six very hungry little mouths
We tryed to feed last years puppies using indivudual dog bowls, but they wanted to be close so as a result all ate of the same small bowls. Hence we started using a large low sided bowl that fitted all six around it (at least until they grew and neared eight weeks).
Hello bloggers
I suppose I should say hello to start things off and break the ice.
I have a very busy house currently, in addition to my husband I have three darling (most of the time) children who are all currently pre-teen and moody. The other full time residents in my home are my dogs; Simba - Chocolate Labrador, Chester - English Springer Spaniel
(ESS), Duke and Ishanna - Golden Retrievers. They are all part of the family and I can honestly say they are great with kids of all ages.
Regarding the naming of this blog. The ESS and the chocolate lab have produced a litter of four darling little chocolate springadors. I hope to take regular pics and a few vids of the puppies throughout they're nursing period right through till they find a new home... maybe even keeping it updated as they're new owners send news back over the months following them collecting thier new family members.
